As we look ahead to the second half of 2021 and beyond, the prospects for a promising turnabout for the renewables appear inevitable. Governments throughout the globe are capitalizing on energy transition to achieve their dual targets of economic recovery and reduction in carbon emissions. This policy approach globally, no doubt, will boost the demand for solar. Yet, the industry’s growth is being met with formidable headwinds, due to national legislations, supply chain disturbances, transportation interruptions and, consequently, price fluctuations.
